Chief Operating Officer


The COO will lead all internal operations, in the absence of the CEO, and be responsible of working in partnership with the CEO of MWiiD and board of directors, create the strategic five-year plan and implement new processes and approaches to achieve the organization's mission. The COO will also assist in coordinating the annual operations plan and budget, lead the performance management process that measures and evaluates progress against goals for the organization, provide for all staff a strong day-to-day leadership presence; bridge national and regional operations.

Events 

Director  

The Events Director (ED) is responsible for directing and overseeing the planning of meetings and special events for MWiiD. The ED coordinates all amenities, accommodations, and related departments including site selection, staffs, food, transportation, and audio or visual equipment. Create and manage the timeline, program and task list for all events. Lead all event planning and production meetings and discussions. Organize and lead collaboration with the Marketing Team on event concept, graphic design/production/printing, and event marketing. Negotiate costs and services with vendors; book event space, arrange food and beverage, order all supplies/decorations, coordinate audiovisual equipment & operation, make travel arrangements.

Executive 

Director

The  executive director role is to design, develop and implement strategic plans in conjunction with CEO  for MWiiD regional/state directors, assist with logistics for national and regional events. The executive director is also responsible for the day-to-day operation of the organization such as  tracking membership enrollment, budget, and providing monthly reports to the CEO, COO, and board of directors.  Responsibility also includes, but is no limited to, managing committees and staff as well as developing business plans in collaboration with the CEO and board of dictors. The executive director will be responsible for mentor members, volunteers, and staff, and will chair or co-chair regional director's meetings.

Assistant

The Executive Assistant (EA) is responsible for scheduling calendar events and travel for the CEO. The EA should posses outstanding communication and organization skills. This individual should be comfortable with public speaking and should always display a level of integrity that represents the organization and the CEO.  In addition to assisting the CEO this individual will also accommodate guest of visiting guest and MWiiD members.

 

 10% domestic and international travel required

Marketing and Communication

Director

The Marketing and Communications Director (MCD) reports to MWiiD leadership and is responsible for planning, development and implementation of all of the MWiiD’s marketing strategies, marketing communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal.  Responsible for creating, implementing a comprehensive marketing, communications and public relations program that will enhance the MWiid’s image and position within the general public.  The MCD will facilitate internal and external communications, marketing, communications and public relations activities and materials including publications, media relations, client acquisition and so forth. The MCD be responsible for editorial direction, design, production and distribution of all MWiiD publications. Additionally, the MCD will coordinate media interest, including social media, and ensure regular contact with target media and appropriate response to media requests. and coordinate the appearance of all MWiiD’s  print and electronic materials such as letterhead, use of logo, brochures, etc.

Bloggers and Writers

The Writer and Blogger contributors will be asked to submit one body of work per month. Subject matters can cover all lifestyle topics and/or businesses and products. The contributors will be responsible for doing all due diligence and research on their subject matters. A minimum of one photo should be submitted along with each body of work. All photo credits and rights should also be displayed with submissions to avoid copyright infringement. In addition all contributors will also allow MWiiD to post and share on all social media platforms.
